Creating LF in QTEMP

This tip shows you a shortcut to eliminate duplicate objects in QTEMP.

In many cases we create duplicate object in QTEMP to allow exclusive processing on certain PFs. Many times we require logical files on this PFs, which we create using command CRTLF in QTEMP. This works absolutely fine. The only limitation in this case is that you have to include source library for LFs in Production library. The same thing could be done just using CRTDUPOBJ command. First create duplicate object of PF in QTEMP, then...

CRTDUPOBJ of all the LFs in QTEMP. The trick is LFs will be automatically based on PF in QTEMP.
