Data Transfer Types can be specified while transferring a file using FTP(Windows) with the following commands:
1.ascii
2.binary
The "binary" transfer type sets the file representation to image. This is necessary while transferring IFS files (QDLS Files), or Save Files.
While transferring an IFS file to 400, you should make sure that your Naming Format is set for Hierarchical File System. This can be done by issuing the command namefmt with the parameter as "1".
