If you have users who run lots of jobs and do lots of printing, then you can change their User Profile USROPT parameter to advise them when their spool file has printed. They will also get a message if their spool file is held by the printer.

CHGUSRPRF USRPRF (USER PROFILE NAME) USROPT(*PRTMSG)
