There are some system "things" that are not saved in your normal daily save. These items include, system values, network attributes, edit descriptions, and reply list entries. In the past you would have had to retain a printout of these values if you had to rebuild your system in the event of a failure. IBM included, as part of CISC-RISC upgrade, the RTVSYSINF command. Running this command -- it only takes a second -- before your daily save will make your backup more complete. If you need to update the above values as part of a disaster recovery just run the UPDSYSINF command.
