On a weekly basis, we run a display file description of all the files on our system and put the results into a
file (DSPFDMBR). We wrote programs to access the data to display
the largest files on our system, and the files that contain the most
deleted records. This allows us to reorganize files and monitor potential
problems with file sizes.
