DB2/400 ON V5R2 CONFLICT WITH OLDER UDB SERVER? | by Kent Milligan

Dear Ken,
I have to upgrade my iSeries to V5R2. Some of my applications use the ODBC connection of a UDB server that is still at UDB 5.2. Does DB2/400 on V5R2 cause any problems for ODBC connections from an older version of UDB? We plan to upgrade our UDB servers to 8.1, but it will take some time before we can perform the upgrade. The OS/400 upgrade is about to start. Do you advise that we stop this upgrade?
