The right-hand side of the Work with Active Jobs screen contains some other columns of interest. The following is a brief summary:

  • CPU time used (CPU). This is the total amount of CPU time used for the job. It is significantly less than the total response time (Int * Rsp) because response times include disk I/O time.

  • Interactions (Int). This is the number of interactions (i.e., the number of times the user has pressed the Enter key or a function key) that have taken place during the measurement interval. This number is used to calculate the average response time (the Rsp column).

  • Auxiliary I/O (AuxIO). This is the number of auxiliary (i.e., disk) I/O operations that have taken place during the measurement interval.
