Ever want an easy way to see who's using all the CPU? This tip will give you a list of all users using more than 1% CPU -- in order of greatest culprit down to the least. This information will be displayed on your screen with the use of a command.
CRTDUPOBJ OBJ(WRKACTJOB) FROMLIB(QSYS) OBJTYPE(*CMD) TOLIB(PROD) NEWOBJ(HOG)
CHGCMDDFT CMD(PROD/HOG) NEWDFT('cpupctlmt(1) seq(*cpupct)')
Make sure that the library you create has the object in your library list. Once you've done the above, type HOG at a command line and hit F10. No more doing WRKACTJOB and searching for the user, or moving over to the CPUPCT and hitting F16.
