Having high disk utilization problems? Where did all of that disk space go?
I run RTVDSKINF on each of my local
AS/400's off of the job scheduler
early Monday morning.
I then submit the PRTDSKINF *LIB
command from the job scheduler at
about 7:00 am.
When I come to work, I can check to see
which libraries are consuming the system
disk space by reviewing the spoolfile
report QPEZDISK generated by PRTDSKINF.
This helps to locate, and keep the disk
utilization lower.

- This is good place to use the GO DISKTASKS utility on the iSeries. This utility seems to be rather
obscure, which is too bad because it is very useful.
