When you have a regularly automated FTP process, the last thing you want do is to manually check the transmission to make sure your file was sent successfully.
In your FTP process you have declared the OUTPUT to be redirected to a file. You can then scan that file for a "SUCCESSFULL" transmission code (226). If this code is found you can continue on with processing. If the code is not found in the file, we send a automated page to our programming team to inform them of the failed FTP.
