On our 9406-825 we have disk controller cards.
These cards have batteries used for caching that the system software expires after about 1,000 days. The system puts out an error message approximately 80 days before it expires. If they are not replaced, caching will be shut off and performance of your machine may be greatly impacted. To find out how many days you have left, follow these steps:
1. STRSST
2. 1-Service tools
3. 4-Display
4. 1-Display
5. 2-LIC
6. 14-advanced analysis
7. Select BATTERYINFO
8. For options type -INFO -ALL
9. On the display you will see number of days to warning and days to error.
