Another of Vince Shank's favorite commands is
WRKUSRJOB USER(USERID) STATUS(*ALL, *ACTIVE, *JOBQ, *OUTQ)
He uses this command if his connection drops while he's in SEU. If that happens, he will need to end the job that is locking the source member, and the quickest way to find that job is by specifying the user and *active.
Search400.com doesn't have any tips using that exact command, but the site has a couple suggestions for WRKUSRJOB:

Have you ever wanted to be able to determine which JOBQ a particular job is running from? Search400.com member Timothy Adair says to issue the command WRKUSRJOB USER(*ALL) JOBTYPE(*BATCH) ASTLVL(*BASIC).
- Chasing down dead jobs with pending printouts
Search400.com member Patrik Stenlund says if you issue this command:
WRKUSRJOB USER(*ALL) STATUS(*OUTQ)
you get a listing of all jobs that has spool files in any outq. You can work with these spool files, check them out, etc.
