It's about time: Changing/checking the iSeries date & time

Use this to make sure the iSeries has the correct system date and/or time, especially when Daylight Savings Time changes or when there is a significant power failure.

1. Get to a command line.

2. WRKSYSVAL QTIME <enter>

3. If it needs to be changed, take option 2.

4. WRKSYSVAL QDATE <enter>

5. If it needs to be changed, take option 2.
