Search400.com member Brandan Haines created this cheat sheet for the "non-admin" types that uses the system to do basic operations and handle things without having to call him. :-)

Brandan Haines is a system administrator II who has worked with the iSeries for seven years.
Brandan's advice for working with the iSeries: Don't be afraid of the system; it's really hard to hurt the iSeries even if you don't know what you are doing. I was very green when I started and had to learn a lot of stuff trial by fire, but I managed and so can you. Learn that the splat '*' is your best friend. And lastly, CL is as powerful as you want to make it to be. Experiment and enjoy, and vive l'iSeries!
