Ken Graap, senior AS/400e system administrator, Northwest Natural Gas

Ken has worked in the S/38 -- AS/400 -- iSeries 400 arena for 16 years. His most recent position is that of senior AS/400e system administrator at Northwest Natural Gas in Portland, Ore. He has extensive experience in all aspects of AS/400 systems management. That includes proactive performance tuning, system software upgrades and maintenance, hardware upgrade planning, backup/recovery procedures and security.

Ken also has experience with the Operations Navigator interface and has had the privilege of participating in several UCD and focus group sessions at the AS/400 Usability Lab in Rochester, Minn., on future requirements of this product. In addition, he has passed the most recent certification exam for IBM Certified Specialist AS/400e and Professional System Administrator V4R4.
