Mainline Information Systems has been honored with the 2004 IBM PartnerWorld Distinguished Blue Diamond Beacon Award as the most outstanding IBM Business Partner in the Americas, based on its impact on the marketplace, the content of IBM products and services in its solutions, its business contribution to IBM, and the customer satisfaction levels it achieved in 2003.
The IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Awards recognize IBM Business Partners that have excelled in providing quality e-business solutions and services to customers based on IBM technologies. Twenty-eight winners were announced at an IBM Beacon Awards ceremony March 1 at PartnerWorld 2004 in Las Vegas.
Awarded in three IBM geographies (Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe, Middle East, Africa), the Distinguished Blue Diamond Beacon Award recognizes the Business Partner that has leveraged IBM's far-reaching portfolio to deliver the most comprehensive solutions. Results are measured on the sales of IBM Hardware, IBM Software, IBM Financing and/or IBM Services within an IBM geography.
Mainline Information Systems (www.mainline.com) delivers IBM-based software, hardware, application solutions and services to more than 4,000 satisfied customers. Mainline has the highest revenue contribution of any Solution Provider in the Americas. The largest U.S. solutions provider of IBM eServers and storage, Mainline achieved 9 percent growth in IBM software and 21 percent growth in IBM hardware and services. Its 17 percent year-to-year growth in 2003 was fueled by increased sales in the territory, including a focus on the mid-market that yielded significant SMB revenues.
An IBM Premier Business Partner, the company successfully leveraged PartnerWorld programs such as IBM Small and Medium Business Advantage, PartnerRewards, Campaign Designer and IBM Global Finance to drive its outstanding performance in 2003. Mainline consistently earns very high customer satisfaction ratings, a reflection of its ongoing investment in the skills of its people and in new technologies such as Life Sciences and Linux.
Mainline's I.T. professionals carry over 300 IBM certifications.
In addition to winning the Distinguished Blue Diamond Beacon Award, Mainline Information Systems was also a finalist in three other Award areas -- Life Sciences, Integrated Technology Services and zSeries.
"It is Mainline's people and our partnership with IBM that set us apart from other solution providers," stated Rick Kearney, CEO and President of Mainline. "The Blue Diamond Beacon Award is a tribute to the hard work, expertise, and customer commitment of our people. We do not simply provide solutions. We build long-term working relationships with our customers because they are at the heart of why we do what we do."
"As this year's winner of the PartnerWorld Distinguished Blue Diamond Beacon Award, Mainline Information Systems is setting the standard for IBM Business Partners in the Americas. Mainline's outstanding accomplishments in 2003 are a testimony to its commitment to delivering innovative e-business solutions and helping customers get the most from their technology investments," said Mike Borman, general manager, IBM Global Business Partners.
