EPIC Global Technology (EPIC), a growing provider of Collaborative Commerce (C-Commerce) Web Services for the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) Industry, and LANSA, a UCCnet Certified Preferred Partner, have formally signed an alliance and reseller agreement to provide Collaborative Commerce solutions to retailers and manufacturers.
LANSA Data Sync Direct system for manufacturers and retailers will be linked to Epic's Global Pavilion™ to form the nation's first collaborative Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system between manufacturers, brokers and retailers that synchronizes with the UCCnet‰ GLOBALregistry‚ service. Pavilion provides collaborative services for CPG trading partners in the area of Trade Funds Management synchronized with UCCnet. Data Sync Direct is a behind-the-firewall vertical solution for UCCnet connectivity, supplying direct integration to enterprise item data. The two systems are linked via Web services and use UCCnet services. A six-month Proof of Concept pilot linkage was recently completed.
"This partnership is a powerful service offering for small and large manufacturers that want a quick and easy return on their UCCnet investment with the use of only a browser, which up until now has been almost impossible to ascertain," said Greg Weismantel, president/CEO of EPIC. "As Pavilion continues its rollout nationally through AquiTec International and Eastern Sales & Marketing, Epic provides the perfect tool for adoption of UCCnet services through the use of LANSA's certified product offering, Data Sync Direct. Additionally, both retailers and manufacturers can begin immediately to collaborate on new items/prices and trade promotions -- all synchronized with the UCCnet GLOBALregistry service -- and eradicate invoice deductions and costs associated with them. This elusive ROI for UCCnet services is available now through Epic and LANSA's combined solutions."
John Siniscal, president of LANSA, added, "We are excited about teaming up with EPIC and the opportunity that a Collaborative Trade Promotion Management (TPM) partner brings to the marketplace. This collaboration provides businesses at each link of the supply chain with the ability to maintain their competitive advantage."
EPIC Global Technology provides technical and business support services for Web-based B2B2B systems that synchronize and collaborate with Trading Partners within the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) Industry. EPIC's Global Pavilion of Web Services is totally compatible and functional with the UCCnet‰ GLOBALregistry‚ service and can fully support the CPG industry and 23 other industries supported by the Uniform Code Council (UCC) and the European Article Numbering Association (EAN).
