Drummond Group Inc. (DGI) has announced that LANSA and three other solution providers have completed and passed the testing requirements for UCCnet Synchronization Suite v2.2.1 Message Translation. This testing is required to ensure that the solutions have the ability to execute the most recent XML messaging from the subscriber's enterprise to UCCnet Synchronization Services (with furtherance to the UCCnet GLOBALregistry). The DGI test results were announced Nov. 5, 2003.
"Version 2.2.1 further improves upon the base 2.2 released this past July by introducing new supply-side transactions such as Catalog Item and Catalog Item Publication," says Alan Christensen, vice president of solution products at LANSA. "Additionally, v2.2.1 allows migration from DTD to Schema by individual sub-organizations. This enables subscribers to have the option to move sub-organizations over to Schema while continuing to maintain DTD compliance."
UCCnet Solution Partners that participated in the testing provided DGI with Global Trade Item Numbers (GTIN), Global Location Number (GLN) and UDEX category information data to be used during testing. All test data was verified as being original and unique before test execution. To pass the test, the Solution Partners had to demonstrate that their products communicated with UCCnet Synchronization Services via XML-based messages governed by current XSD schemas.
