Established in 1994, the COMMON Speaker Excellence Hall of Fame recognizes speakers whose presentations have received exceptional ratings in both content and delivery. At the end of each session, attendees turn in evaluation forms rating each session on numerous aspects, including content, the speaker's ability to communicate, the speaker's knowledge of the topic, and the use of training aids.

Speakers whose sessions are rated in the top 1 percent are awarded a Gold Medal; the next 2 percent receive a Silver Medal; and the next 4 percent receive a Bronze Medal. Many of these speakers will present updated versions of their sessions at COMMON's Fall 2003 Conference in Orlando.
