Oasis 400 Plc, prominent UK-based systems integrator and wholly owned subsidiary of SoftLanding Systems, a leading provider of Software Management solutions for iSeries and multi-platform development, announced that it has formally changed its name to SoftLanding Europe Plc to align itself more closely with its parent company. The renaming follows SoftLanding Systems' acquisition of Oasis 400 Plc on Dec. 6, 2002, and represents another milestone in the two companies' 10-year partnership in providing reliable Software Management solutions to companies in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and several other markets in Europe and the Middle East.
In a related move, the two companies today unveiled a new Website for SoftLanding Europe, http://www.softlandingeurope.com/. In addition to reflecting its new branding, the Website contains substantial new content for SoftLanding Europe, including an area on WebSphere technology that offers free downloads of tools such as a Spooled File Plug-in for WebSphere Development Studio Client (WDSC) 5.0, and a toolset for managing WebSphere Application Server on the iSeries. The Website is managed using SoftLanding's flagship product, TurnOver Change Management.
