NFS teams with ASNA to bring ASNA Visual RPG for Microsoft Visual Studio.NET and expert consulting services to iSeries

PRESS RELEASE

Net Fusion Services Inc. (NFS), a consulting firm and technology enabler providing expert-level application architecture, design and development services to the global 2000 and midmarket, announced it has formed a strategic alliance with ASNA (Amalgamated Software of North America Inc.), a leading provider of visual programming and systems software for the midrange community since 1982.

ASNA, which specializes in Web, Windows and .NET development environments for the iSeries 400 and Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP Server, recently announced beta availability of the .NET version of their ASNA Visual RPG (AVR), an integrated development environment for creating enterprise Web, Windows and .NET applications for the 400 enterprise. "We are excited about our alliance with ASNA," said Jim Duckett, president and CEO of net Fusion Services. "ASNA's reputation within the iSeries 400 community is exceptional, and their latest technology will help 400-based organizations rapidly reduce their total cost of ownership, and transform legacy 400 applications."

ASNA's technology, ASNA Visual RPG (AVR), is an enterprise application development system for Web, Windows and .NET hosted applications. AVR's Windows-based development environment uses the latest in state-of-the-art compiler technology to provide an RPG compiler that produces native Windows executables (either EXEs or DLLs) helping to rapidly create Web-enabled applications for iSeries 400 environments.

"Based on net Fusion Services' legacy of architecting and developing enterprise class software and Web-enabled applications within private software companies and large blended environments like Children's Healthcare of America (CHCA), Kraft, Credit Suisse, Mitsubishi Fuso, it is clear that they can provide enormous value to current and future ASNA clients," said Martin Gossen, vice president of business alliances for ASNA.

"ASNA's technology clearly addresses the current need in today's competitive marketplace, where every company is battling to increase revenues, decrease costs, or simply stay alive," said Mark Dallmeier, vice president of marketing and alliances with net Fusion Services. "Our alliance with ASNA will bring expert Web application and Microsoft .NET architecture, design and development support to ASNA clients and any iSeries 400 environment looking to reduce their existing operational costs and utilize existing technologies to create strategic advantage."
