According to the company, when combined with cluster management and mirroring solutions like DataMirror iCluster, ClusterProven applications enable companies to keep their business critical systems and applications up and running 24x7 by offering seamless switchover capabilities to address planned and unplanned downtime. NetManage's RUMBA Web-to-Host 4.0 extends biz-critical data
NetManage, Inc.,a Cupertino, Calif.-based supplier of e-business access and application integration solutions for the AS/400, has released RUMBA Web-to-Host 4.0, a host-access product for extending business-critical data that resides on mainframe and midrange systems. The new software provides direct client-side SSL security, Java native AS/400 file transfer and printing and Java UNIX emulation. Web-to-Host 4.0 also includes a local start feature, which maintains a persistent connection to the host even if the Web server goes down, and real-time interactive support to reduce the time-to-resolution for technical support problems.NetManage, Inc.
Vertex in alliance with IBM
Vertex Interactive Inc., a provider of business-to-business fulfillment technologies, announced a strategic ISV alliance with IBM. Vertex will deliver Web-based e-Business Supply Chain Management (SCM) solution and execution suite of applications, which will be bundled and jointly marketed with IBM's MQ Series. ShowCase rebundles content management system
ShowCase,a provider of enterprise intelligence solutions and a division of SPSS Inc. announced it is re-bundling components of its content management solution in order to provide more flexible solutions, in response to evolving customer needs. The company will offer two content management solutions, each available with optional components to increase functionality. Named ShowCase Content Manager and Enterprise Content Manager, both integrate with ShowCase's data warehousing and business intelligence solutions. The new solutions will enable companies to manage all types of business information and deliver it internally and externally via the Web.
