ClientSoft releases latest version of solution for moving legacy apps to GUI

ClientSoft's ClientBuilder Version 6.2, which includes enhancements such as wireless access protocol (WAP) and wireless markup language (WML) support to its ClientBuilder Enterprise and WebPack products. Enterprise is a solution for transforming iSeries 400 (AS/400) and other mainframe applications and databases into GUI-based client/server solutions. WebPack is a development toolkit for Web-enabling host-based applications and databases.

Trend Micro rolls out virus protection for Notes

Trend Micro Inc. recently announced NeaTSuite, which brings antivirus and management tools to enterprises using the Lotus Notes messaging and collaboration platform. By combining ScanMail for Lotus Notes with its InterScan, VirusWall, ServerProtect, OfficeScan and Trend VCS products, Trend Micro provides an interlocking solution to protect against viruses and other malicious code.
