Martin Pladgeman, president of BOSaNOVA, Inc., the North American Master Distributor of connectivity products from BOScom, Ltd., announced that all products featuring the award-winning BOSÂNOVA emulations are fully compatible with Microsoft's newest XP SP2 service pack.
"There has been some buzz in the industry that host-access emulation software might be rendered incompatible with Microsoft's Windows XP SP2, the post-beta, pre-release code now available for downloading. I want to reassure all BOScom customers that thanks to our ongoing development relationship with Microsoft, we have verified that our host-access software is fully compatible," explains Pladgeman. "Whether you download XP SP2 now, or wait for general availability later this summer, have no fear: our products work, as always."
The BOSÂNOVA host access software is included in the following BOScom products:
- BOSÂNOVA XTC Thin Client
- BOSÂNOVA TCP/IP, a TCP/IP-based software suite including SQL-based data transfer
- BOSÂNOVA Client, an APPC-based software suite included SQL-based data transfer
- BOSÂNOVA Plus, a software/hardware kit for Twinax connectivity, supplied with PCI cards.
BOScom's Jadvantage web-to-host software (www.jadvantage.com) also passed the tests, but it requires some additional configuration on the PC.
