Backup will generally run better in a larger memory pool.
I'm a big fan of the automatic system tuning feature. It reacts quickly
and can be "tweaked" quite easily from the WRKSHRPOOL command interface. I would recommend that you turn on this feature by changing system value
QPFRADJ to '3' - "Automatic adjustment".
As for predicting how much time will be saved, there are just too many
variables involved to know. Try running with QPFRADJ set to '3' for a week
or so to find out. ==================================
