The solution is to configure the printer session in Client Access to use host print transform rather then "regular" printing.
With Host Printer Transform (HPT). The iSeries generates the PC printer data stream on the iSeries and sends it to the PC to print, this can be used to print Advanced Function Print (AFP) documents to PC printers. It provides the most consistent output of the three emulation methods when different emulators and print drivers are used. However, HPT uses iSeries CPU cycles to perform its transformations. ==================================
