I would suggest encrypting your data either using encryption software, or using an encryption chip that is available on the iSeries system. Once encrypted, the files could be safely saved to tape and restored on another system. The destination system would also need the same software or chip to decrypt the files at destination. Once the files have been encrypted, any save operation using the normal SAVLIB, SAVOBJ or BRMS would do the trick. ==================================
