QUESTION POSED ON: 29 May 2003
Our iSeries is located in the UK. I have a HP8000 with IPDS option in the US. The printer is configured using IP and has been in service for some time. It has -- in the past -- given a little trouble with jobs set at PND but an ENDWTR and restart usually did the trick. I just upgraded to V5R1. The printer starts and prints what's waiting and then refuses to print again until it has been physically turned off/on and varied off/on and then the writer restarts. Do you know what's going on?

There are PTF's in V5R1 to fix this problem. I don't have the specific PTF, but you should be able to find it here..
