ebt-now offers custom training on WDSC for customers BUT it is
billable like most training courses. We also run custom "hands on"
labs where customers want that (covering WDSC tools and WebFacing). A
partner company of ours will release billable, web-based training
next year on the WDSC tools.
On the free side, there are some alternatives of varying value:
1) This web site will release a set of standalone tutorials on WDSC
and related topics (WebSphere Express, e-business infrastructure
etc). The first, Eclipse Java tooling has been released here for
download. The only request we make is that you provide feedback on
any tutorials you download so we can improve them.
2) IBM has a Redbook on the tools published September 2002. It is not a
tutorial but does provide an overview more than half the tool
features. The WebFacing portion is already slightly out of date. The Redbook is limited in showing how to apply the tools. At some point, I expect a more thorough RedBook will be released.
3) The online help in WDSC is actually good BUT is not organized well
as tutorials. It DOES include some examples worth going through. ==================================
