My assumption is that what you are really saying is that you want to make some iSeries data available through HTTP. There are many secure methods to do this, and some very insecure methods.
Tips for you, some should be painfully obvious
- You do NOT want to place your production iSeries outside the firewall.
- If you are unfamiliar with the security exposures of connecting to the internet, you must not proceed without expert assistance.
There are so many ways to make your data available over the internet, that rather than picking the top security concerns, I would instead encourage you to read ALL of the iSeries Redbooks and Manuals that concern the topic.
