QUESTION POSED ON: 23 August 2002
In regards to migrating a V4R5 system to a V5R1 system, it is best to use the previous release to current release restore/migration instructions, which can be found in Chapter 15 of the Backup and Recovery book.

All saves from the V4R5 system should be performed with *CURRENT release support. This is because they will be RESTORING on a higher release. Issues arise when you want to save data from a higher release and restore it to a previous release.
