QUESTION POSED ON: 14 February 2002
I am attempting to bring a file to the iSeries 400 from the PC via FTP. The file is currently in the C drive. These are the commands that I am using (after I sign on), but no data is being transferred. I don't use FTP often so I may have misunderstood the command or missed something. Any ideas?
cd FILES (AS/400 library where my file exists)

put SCACN SCACN.SCACN (SCACN is the file name on both the PC and the iSeries, it is also the member name)

The syntax is OK. You did not specify the exact message you are getting so I will guess. This is probably due to local directory issue. Try issue the following before the put:

lcd c:local directory.
