QUESTION POSED ON: 11 July 2001
About a month ago I upgraded from Windows 95 to Windows 98 in order to run a new application that would not work with Windows 95. I copied all of the MS Access 97 databases that I had used on the Win95 machine to the new Win98 machine and attempted to recreate the ODBC link to our AS/400. This had worked perfectly on the Win95 machine, but I have been unable to get it to work on the Win98 machine. I have gone so far as to reformat the hard drive on the Win98 machine and completely reinstall all of the software. Are you aware of any reason why Client Access ODBC will not work with Win98 and Access 97? We are using an older AS/400 (9406 Model 300) running V3R2. Could this be the problem?

This is done using the drop procedure statement. The statement is SQL so it can be called from STRSQL or SQL center of operation navigator. BTW -- you can create this procedure with the same name in different collections (libraries).
