QUESTION POSED ON: 14 March 2001
I currently support a MS access procedure database on the Client/Server side and would like to know if there is any available software that would allow me to create a procedure database that runs on the iSeries.

On the Client/Server (Win NT) side it allows me to create a database with the ability to plug word documents/Picturs/Grahics in as OLE objects, I am looking for the same type of functionality.

Client Access Express has a robust DB2 interface to the iSeries. If you do not have Client Access Express installed on your PC, I would strongly suggest that you do so. The Help for Client Access Express is extensive. You should be able to do what you need to do with any database that resides on the iSeries, including transferring to Excel, etc.

I may not have understood your question clearly. If this does not answer your question, please feel free to write back.
