QUESTION POSED ON: 23 December 2008
Could you please explain what journal code value "K" means?

This journal code appears in journals when you enter the command DSPJRN, journal=QAUDJRN, journal type="FA".

I cannot find the meaning of this code value in any IBM manual.

>
Journal type AF, subtype K, indicates that the user profile does not have the special authority required by the function attempting to run.

All journal codes and their subtypes are documented in Appendix F in the Security Reference manual, available under the "Security" category in the IBM Information Center.
