I want to automate Client Access to pull down some files from the AS/400. Is there a way that this can be done? Can I use Windows scheduler to do it?

It is possible to use Client Access RTOPCB. RTOPCB can be used to transfer files from the AS/400 to the PC and can be used in any PC batch file (so you can use the normal scheduler to run it).

IBM provides specific instructions for using RTOPCB to automate file transfers.
