QUESTION POSED ON: 18 August 2008
We relocated an i5 server from Toronto to Montreal. In our storage location names we want to change VAULTTOR and TORTOTO for VAULT and TOTO. Is there is a way to do that and do I need to check in my BRMS configuration for hard coding for those names?

I believe you could do the following steps:
  • GO BRMMED
  • Option 4 – Work with storage locations
  • Option 3 – Copy
  • For the old locations use Option 6 – Work with media.
  • Then, for each volume in the old location use Option 8 to move it to the new location.
