Does a full system save backup journals? We use the following SAVSYS, NONSYS, SAVDLO and SAV.

YES ...Journals and Journal Receivers are saved like any other object on the system. So if you use SAVLIB LIB(*NONSYS), any journal and/or journal receiver that resides in a *NONSYS library will be saved along with everything else in that library.
