QUESTION POSED ON: 18 March 2005
I have two iSeries machines. I'd like to take the stored procedure that is running on one of them and then select the data from a table existing on the second one and insert it into a table in the first machine. In Oracle we can do it through DBLink. Is there something similar in DB2/400?

Additional middleware is needed to do that. You should look at the WebSphere Information Integrator product (formerly known as DB2 Information Integrator). More details can be found in the Heterogeneous Data Access white paper.
