QUESTION POSED ON: 04 February 2005
In your article, "Admin Alert: Installing cume fixes and group PTFs in subsequent order", you said IBM suggested first applying the cume in a delayed status then IPLing. When you say delayed, do you mean a "normal" option 8, then an IPL or is there a different/special parameter to be used on option 8?

I do mean the "normal option 8" with a delayed parameter of *YES. Make sure you do not select the *IMMDLY option for Delayed PTF from option 8.
