Building Java Server Faces applications

Can I build Java Server Faces applications on Tomcat to talk to the iSeries database?

You SHOULD be able to using the IBM Java toolbox JDBC driver, V5R3. It supports RowSets, which is a preferred way to access SQL result sets from DB2.
