Use CHGPF to change the field length

You mention in a Q&A that the CHGPF command can be used to change the field length of a field without recompiling the PF. What parameter is used for that, as I do not see it on my system? We are at V5R1.

You just point the CHGPF command at the new DDS for the file using the SRCFILE & SRCMBR parameters as demonstrated in the following example:

          CHGPF FILE(PF1) SRCFILE(MYLIB/SRC) SRCMBR(PF1NEW)
