QUESTION POSED ON: 18 September 2003
We're getting a new iSeries and we need to be sure that we get all of the information from one machine to the other. We plan to unplug the old machine eventually. What 'SAV' commands should I include in my final backup?

To backup everything on your system, use Option 21 from the SAVE menu. To get to the save menu, type GO SAVE.

When you are ready to restore, take a look at the RESTORE menu. To get there type, GO RESTORE.
