How can I discover what object is accessing a user who is using a ODBC connection? What methods can I use to track this kind of connection?

First, you will need to find the job servicing the profile. Use this command:

wrkobjlck 'USSER PROFILE NAME' *usrprf.

Then look in the job QZDASOINIT it will have open files in option number 14. You can also enable debug (see this document for instructions) this will display also performance related data.

Last, you can define an exit program (or buy one) to log all incoming request and also control these requests. For explanation to exit programs see the information center.
