I actually understand IBM's position on this somewhat. There IS an alternate way to access the source directly using a non-ADM connection to the server from Code Designer. Given that an alternative exists and the number of users that require ADM versus the alternative, I can see how it's not on the top of their fix list.
Ultimately, CODE Designer access to source will probably be standardized through the RSE perspective in the new WDSC tools. That DOES work now ok in version 1.0 of the tool that started shipping on June 28.
There ARE other bigger fixes that have higher impacts on the new WDSC toolset that are open.
