QUESTION POSED ON: 10 August 2005
How can I set up a shared directory in the IFS? That is, a directory in which different users can delete files created by other users. I have tried using the SETGID and CHGRP commands in Qshell but they only affect the *RWX permissions, and you need *OBJEXIST to delete a file.

EXPERT RESPONSE
Try securing the directory with an Authorization list and give the users (or their group) *CHANGE or *RWX plus *OBJEXIST to the authorization list.
