QUESTION POSED ON: 13 November 2003
I need to back up a directory. We perform a WRKLNK from a command line, and then go to /QOpenSys/NJ/RSBACKUP/. We are saving RS6000 files here. What command should we use to back up this directory?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE
If you are using the SAVE menu Option 21 or 23 to backup your system regularly, then you are already saving this directory. However, to specifically save this directory to TAP01 you would execute this command:

SAV DEV('qsys.lib/tap01.dev') OBJ(('QOpenSys/NJ/RSBACKUP/*' *INCLUDE))
UPDHST(*YES)
