Working with Choice Program(CHOICEPGM

In a command I am trying to use the parameter: Choice program(CHOICEPGM) to use a program(a subfile selection program) to select a user from a file. The command does prompt with the program I am using but does not return with the selection. Any Ideas?

Define a pointer to the variable being passed to your program. Define a work variable of the same type and a pointer to that variable. Set the passed variable pointer to the work variable pointer prior to returning to the command.
