Q

What is Brio?

Can you please tell me what Brio is and what it's used for? Also what is its relationship with Access database...

or any database?

Brio is a query and reporting tool that allows easy data retrieval from databases, including the iSeries database.

Brio is different from MDB since MDB is a database (at least it claims to be one), and Brio is a query and reporting tool that connects to different databases and retrieves data.

You can compare Brio to other extraction tools such as business objects or cognos.

You can find more information on Brio here.
