Q

WebFacing response time

Is the overhead of WebFacing enough to decide to write applications from scratch using Java, or is it tolerable with a decent response time to use WebFacing instead, if development time is not a big issue?

"Have gotten several apps up on our test server using WebFacing. Response times are good" .. That's an actual quote...

from a customer we helped get started with WebFacing. Yes response time CAN be fine. There are many factors that impact it but NOT the WebFacing tool or server. They work fine.
